Guitarist and singer Greg Keelor is best known for being one half of the songwriting duo responsible for that Canadian music institution known as Blue Rodeo. A chance meeting in a high school over thirty years ago eventually led to Greg and Jim founding Blue Rodeo and since then, they have recorded dozens of songs and played hundreds of shows for their very loyal fanbase.

In 1996, Greg started recording Gone his first solo album. A deep and very personal album, it was released in 1997 to rave reviews from both critics and fans.

Nearly ten years later, Greg released another solo album - Seven Songs for Jim. A sort of mini-album, it contained exactly seven songs all dedicated to his recently deceased father.

Greg's latest solo album — Aphrodite Rose — is due in stores on October 10. It will be supported by a tour and Greg's fans, better known as Keelorites, can't wait to find out if Greg will be playing in their neighbourhood venue.
